Great Hollow brings you to the bay at the end of its namesake road. The staircase is the detail to plan around: take what you can comfortably carry down and back up, and save the full cooler-and-cart setup for another outing.

Access, parking, and facilities
September 2026 maintenance: The town announced a parking-lot closure on September 23, 7 a.m.–2:30 p.m., with more work expected the following week. Check the town’s dates before driving over.

- A staircase of about 30 feet connects the road to the beach.

- 35 parking spaces; a seasonal town sticker is required. No daily parking pass.
- Facilities
- Seasonal portable toilet; no lifeguard.
