Three useful improvements to make now

Make the fit easy to judge

Lead with clear room photos, the actual beds, guest limit, and the amenities you provide. Explain shared spaces and beach access instead of leaving guests to infer them from photographs.

Put your rate in context

Compare advertised weekly offers by bedroom count and rate year. Then check dates, fees, location, and included essentials, not just the lowest number. Asking rates do not establish achieved revenue or occupancy.

Make arrival easier

Share local answers for groceries, beach parking, and outings. Add your own arrival time, linen arrangements, parking instructions, and house contact separately; a town guide cannot supply those property-specific details.

How the directory connects guests to your listing

Truro Cottages contains 130 cottage and small-stay records. Renters can narrow the directory by bedrooms, guest capacity, and recorded amenities, then follow a link to an owner website or rental platform. Reservations and payments happen there, not here.

For a useful record, the public source needs to identify the specific unit, show the current layout, and attach a year and rental period to its price. A missing detail is not proof that an amenity is absent. Use the owner listing checklist to prepare the photos, bed details and price information renters need.

Correct your cottage’s information

Email a listing correction with the cottage name, its public listing URL, and the specific correction. Include a source or an explanation of your connection to the property so we can check the change.

Suggest a cottage for the directory

Suggest your cottage by email with the specific cottage or unit name, its public booking URL, and your connection to it. Include the beds, guest limit, dated price and photos you are authorized to provide if available. We review suggestions manually; emailing does not guarantee inclusion or create a paid listing.

Send public property information only, not guest details, entry codes, payment information, or identity documents. Email requests for inclusion and corrections are welcome. Self-service editing and paid placements are not available.

A useful message to send your guests

Copy these links into your pre-arrival email, then add your own check-in time, key instructions, parking, linens, and house contact. Keep access codes out of public pages.

Owner questions

Do I need to change my booking platform?

No. The directory links to existing rental pages. You keep your booking process, calendar, rental agreement, and guest relationship.

Can I edit or claim my record myself?

Self-service claims are not available. Use the email above for a correction and include the public source we should review.

Does appearing here mean the cottage has been inspected?

No. These are source-linked directory records, not property inspections, endorsements, or live availability confirmations.
