What the directory does
We write concise original summaries of public rental information and link to the source. Seed listings are not partnerships, endorsements, inspections, or proof of licensing. Confirm the complete offer directly.
How we describe cottages and prices
An unlisted amenity is unknown, not absent. Waterfront, water view, and beach access are separate descriptions; source claims do not establish private beach rights. Bedroom count and advertised guest capacity do not tell you the exact bed arrangement.
Our price guide groups recorded weekly cottage offers by bedroom count and rate year. It excludes records without a matching weekly rate and does not measure bookings, occupancy, or the entire Truro rental market. The median is a median advertised starting rent, not a checkout total. How featuring works
There are currently no paid placements. If paid promotion is added, it will be labelled separately and will not change factual distance or amenity claims.
Photos and ownership
We do not copy rental advertisements or their photo galleries. Place photography includes Creative Commons and public-domain images. See photo credits for photographers and licenses. Rental directory previews use each listing’s social-preview or featured image, loaded from the original image host and linked to its source.
Freshness and corrections
Source review dates appear in rental details and guide source notes. Editorial revisions are dated separately where recorded; rewriting a guide does not mean every linked source was checked again. Availability is not live. Rate years are explicit, and conflicting source details are flagged rather than silently resolved. Email the guide for listing corrections, photo questions or owner inquiries. Include the cottage name and original listing URL.
Privacy
The guide includes OpenStreetMap embeds and remotely hosted listing photos, which load content from external providers. No account, payment or inquiry form is provided. We use Fathom Analytics to understand visits, referral sources and popular pages on our public domain. Fathom does not use analytics cookies. Search filters stay in the page URL; the hosting provider may keep ordinary access logs. Do not enter personal information in filters.
