Where should you start looking for breakfast?
Start with the direction you are already going: Truro for a local beach morning, Bradford Street for a Provincetown outing, or a bakery stop once you have parked in town. A breakfast sandwich should not require planning the whole day around the drive.

Breakfast in Truro without a Provincetown trip
Savory on the Cape, 316 US Route 6, lists egg sandwiches, coffee and bakery items through its ordering menu. It is a useful starting point for a breakfast-and-coffee stop while staying in Truro. Look at the active ordering window before leaving, rather than assuming the lunch or pizza hours also apply to breakfast.
Days Market & Deli, 271 Shore Road, combines a coffee-and-bakery counter with provisions on Beach Point. Choose it for a pastry, coffee and a few things for the kitchen; check Days' current offerings for your morning.

Far Land or East End Market?
Far Land Provisions, 150 Bradford Street, serves egg-and-cheese sandwiches, bagels and other breakfast items until 11:30 a.m., according to its deli menu, checked September 23, 2026. Choose your bread and fillings, or pick up prepared food for later. It is a useful stop before spending the day in Provincetown.
East End Market, 212 Bradford Street, combines breakfast and lunch with a deli, groceries and prepared meals, according to its Provincetown Business Guild listing, reviewed September 23, 2026. For a larger order, gather everyone's choices before calling. Far Land's number is 508-487-0045. If you are making a day of Provincetown, plan parking or the shuttle rather than depending on a space directly outside the shop.
Where can you get something sweet?
Provincetown Portuguese Bakery, 299 Commercial Street, is the town-center stop for Portuguese pastries, including malasadas, a Portuguese fried dough. Find the business through the Chamber's bakery directory. Pair it with a walk around Provincetown rather than treating it as a quick roadside stop on Route 6.
For a pastry with coffee closer to your Truro rental, try Savory's menu or the Days counter. Selections vary through the day.
For conventional doughnuts, Hole in One is farther south: the business lists a bakery/coffee/takeout location at 4295 US Route 6 in Eastham and a bakery with a sit-down breakfast/lunch restaurant at 98 Route 6A in Orleans. Both offer handmade doughnuts. These make more sense on an Eastham outing or your arrival/departure route than as the nearest coffee run from Truro. Check the location's current hours before making a special trip.
Can you pick up beach lunch at the same time?
Often the easiest plan is to buy breakfast, then order lunch from a deli when its lunch menu is available. Box Lunch lists Truro at 300 Route 6, Hillside Farmstand, Wellfleet at 50 Briar Lane, and Provincetown at 334 Commercial Street. Its specialty is the rollwich; use the location-specific phone numbers and menu so you do not order from the wrong town.
For a group, collect the order before reaching the counter: sandwich, bread, changes and allergies. Confirm allergy handling with the business directly.
