Where is Highland Links?
Highland Links sits on the Atlantic bluffs beside Highland Light. The course’s exposed setting and natural rough are part of its character. For a cottage week with golfers and non-golfers, it makes sense as a planned outing rather than an impromptu stop on the way to the beach.
Arrange your round
Use Highland Links’ rates and tee-time portal to arrange your round. The pro shop is the place to ask about rental equipment, carts, and the right booking for your group. The published contact is 508-487-9201, at 10 Highland Light Road. Book the golf first, then fit the rest of the day around it.
The course directs visitors to its online booking system for daily and weekly specials; those offers must be purchased through that system. Look at the actual date and tee time rather than assuming a rate applies all week.
Before you pack golf equipment, ask the pro shop what is available to rent and what the complete round will cost. If your group is splitting up, agree on a meeting time and place rather than expecting the lighthouse tour to fill the whole round.
The lighthouse is its own visit
Highland Light is at 27 Highland Light Road, separate from the golf booking. Non-golfers can visit the lighthouse while others play, or everyone can go together before or after the round. Stay off the active course when sightseeing.
The lighthouse operator’s 2026 visitor information, reviewed September 23, lists:
- Season: May 1–October 25, daily 9 a.m.–5 p.m.; last tour 4:30 p.m.
- Admission: adult $10, student $6, senior $8, military $9.
- Climb: 69 steps and two ladders near the top; a typical tour takes about 20 minutes.
- Children: at least 48 inches tall; under-18s need an adult. No carrying someone up.
- Shoes: no flip-flops; closed-toed shoes are recommended.
These are 2026 details, not a confirmed 2027 schedule. Weather can stop tours. The operator also offers a free Junior Keeper booklet for children, including those too short to climb.
Make this a short outing or part of a longer day
Pair the lighthouse with coffee or breakfast in North Truro, or keep the afternoon free for the beach. There is no beach access from the lighthouse: cliffs separate it from the ocean. For a beach visit, use a separate entrance such as Head of the Meadow and its own parking arrangements.
